Pollinators in Canola in the Inland Pacific Northwest

PNW0751

2月 22, 2021

Pollinators play an important role in 作物 productivity. Unfortunately, myriad pressures are causing their populations to decline steeply. While a single approach to solving the pollinator crisis is unrealistic, canola grown in the Inland Pacific Northwest (PNW) could have major positive effects on wild bee populations. This PNW publication discusses the canola-pollinator relationship in the canola-growing region of the Inland PNW and which 作物 management strategies best support pollinator (bee) survival. From reducing tillage, wise pesticide application, to planting more native flora and more, your efforts will go a long way toward helping to conserve the habitats of these vital ecological actors.
